Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Lauren
Oden & Fatzo
Ministry of Sound/B1 Recordings

Comment
"This was originally put up on Bandcamp in August 2020 as the French duo Oden & Fatzo special edit of the Men I Trust tune 'Lauren'. It's gone on to be championed all across Radio 1 Dance this summer and also crops up in sets by the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones and Hot Since 82. It's now been picked up and officially released by Ministry and B1 so you'll be able to stream it to your hearts content, and they completely replayed the original sample too. Danny Howard has already made it his Hottest Record in the World and it's that good I'm making it an ENT as well."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 32.30 here.
