Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Impossible (&Me Remix)
Röyksopp
PIAS
out now
Comment
"Fresh off announcing their new album Profound Mysteries 2, Röyksopp has dropped a brand new remix package. The lead track is the co-produced &Me remix of their track Impossible, which features Alison Goldfrapp. No stranger to this show, &Me is part of the Keinemusik collective who are having a moment. Well, they've been having a moment for quite a while as far as I'm concerned. He's done it again. I knew within about sixteen bars that this was the one, it's just got that thing, and Röyksopp are brilliant anyway."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 35.08 here.
