Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
World Is Empty
Skream & Jansons
CircoLoco Records
out now
Comment
"So Skream is back with a genuine club banger, a heater. It's one of his most requested tracks of the last year and they've finally cleared the sample. There's a proper emotional vocal in this, salute to Diana Ross and the Supremes. The whole effect of this kind of reminds me of his classic La Roux remix. It comes hot on the heels of his recent club smash The Attention Deficit Track and he's back on CircoLoco Records with longtime collaborator Jansons."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 32.11 here.
