  • CISAC reported global royalty collections for creators grew by 7.6% to a new high of €13.1bn in 2023. Digital collections increased by 9.6% to €4.6bn, making up 35% of total collections. This compares to 30% for broadcast and 25% for live and public performance. Royalty collections from TV and radio broadcasters fell by 4%, just +0.7% above their 2019 level, reflecting the decline in viewer numbers and TV advertising income.
