I actually premiered this track on last week's show and it's since been massive at Electric Zoo and STORY in Miami. First released on Hot Creations, this is the title track from Jamie Jones' forthcoming three-track EP, due for release at the start of October. He'll be closing his weekly Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza this Wednesday (23rd).

  • SFX Entertainment has raised $90m in new financing from new and existing investors. (Billboard) An unnamed institution investor purchased $30m of senior preferred stock. Sillerman Investment Partners III LLC purchased $15m and has an obligation to purchase an addition $15m over the next 30 days. $30m comes from the company's revolving credit facility from GoldenTree Asset Management.
  • America’s newest vinyl pressing company, Independent Record Pressing, plan to build their business by serving smaller labels that have been shut out due to the pressing demands of major labels. (Fact)
  • Thousands took to the streets of Sydney to protest the city’s lockout laws, which prevent people from entering a new venue after 1:30am. (Dancing Astronaut)
  • The first labels signed up for the inaugural Independent Label Week have been announced. (RotD) The annual celebration of independent record labels worldwide will be held in November and aims to encourage audience engagement with their local independent labels, and also to learn more about labels outside of their hometowns.

  • YouTube has begun calling time on free trial access to its Music Key subscription service.
