  • Vivendi has closed its sale of a 10% stake in Universal Music Group to a consortium led by Tencent. It confirmed the deal was based on an enterprise value of €30bn, or $33bn at current exchange rates, compared with $33.6bn when the transaction was announced at the end of 2019. (Billboard)

  • BBC Radio 1 has launched a new Friday night schedule which will see presenters Danny Howard, Annie Mac and Pete Tong continue to showcase the station’s premiere electronic music talent, with Pete Tong switching to 11pm-1am slot and Danny Howard taking 9pm-11pm show from this Friday (3rd April) onwards.
