Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Siren (Basement Jaxx Cruise Remix)
Shygirl
Because
out now
Comment
"This is Siren. It's the first single from Shygirl's genre-bending EP Alias. She's already having a big 2021 and we loved her last single, especially the Boys Noize remix of Tasty. The new single lands alongside a crazy remix package too, that sees UK legends Basement Jaxx provide two remixes, The Cruise and The Joyride. Danny Howard has already put his stamp of approval on it earlier, making it a Friday Fire. I'll tell you what we are going to double stamp it. This week's ENT comes from Shygirl. This is Siren, the Basement Jaxx Cruise."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 25.55 here.
