"Our ENT this week comes courtesy of a bit of a legend Martin Solveig. He's put together an inspired remix of the Nigerian Afrobeats singer Omah Lay's tune 'Holy Ghost'. Omah Lay exploded onto the scene when he dropped his album 'Boy Alone' back in 2022 to much critical acclaim. He's got a really infectious voice, and this remix brings him into the dance arena in a really tasteful way. We love it."

  • US Congress members have proposed a new performer remuneration system on streaming paid for by a new levy applied to subscription fees. Monies generated by the levy would flow directly to performers via a new fund. (CMU) 
  • In the US, the National Music Publishers’ Association's TikTok license, which is used by a number of independent publishers, is set to expire 30 April. The organisation says it is not likely to renew or extend the license. (Billboard)
